Governor Bill Haslam: "Beretta is one of the world's great companies, and its commitment
to excellence and Tennessee's rich history in manufacturing make today's announcement a
great match."

Franco Gussalli Beretta, executive vice-president: "We are convinced we could find no
better place than Tennessee to establish our new manufacturing enterprise."

Commissioner Bill Hagerty: "Today's significant announcement by Beretta USA is a historic
moment for the state of Tennessee."

Beretta, established in 1526, announced expansion of its U.S. operations with a new
firearms manufacturing and R&D facility in Gallatin. The company manufactures the M-9
pistol for U.S. Armed Forces and produces both sporting and tactical firearm product
lines. Construction was expected to complete in 2014.
